Lovers of mountain hiking will be able to backpack from the campsite, walk along the very pretty lake of St Apollinaire, go up to the Joubelle hut (45mn), have a quick snack at the Serre du Mouton (1h45), then have lunch at the orientation table (3h00), and for the more courageous, cross the breach to reach the highest point at 2403 m (5h30), and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Serre-Ponçon from the Serre du Mouton to the top of Aiguilles.
